Why Children Misbehave: Three Things That Could Be Happening Beneath the Behaviour

I’m Rebecca, founder of Flourishing Childhood. I taught at The Children’s House around 20 years ago, so it feels especially lovely to return and connect with families at the school again. I no longer teach but have retrained as a therapeutic play practitioner and parent coach. I also chair The International Attachment Network.

In this one-hour online talk, we’ll explore three reasons children may struggle with their behaviour. We’ll look at everyday moments such as refusing to cooperate, shouting and sibling arguments, and consider what children might need from us when things get difficult. * Please feel free to email me anything you are struggling with and I can share confidentially.
