Inner Relationship Parenting Process

A monthly space to reconnect with your inner wisdom in parenting.

A monthly space to slow down and listen to your inner world with compassion.

Tuesdays online:

21st April, 19th May, 16th June, 14th July, Aug TBC 15th September, 13th October, 17th November, 8th December 2026. (2027 TBC)

12:30pm-2:00pm BST/GMT

So much of what arises in parenting doesn’t come from our child…
It comes from within us.

The tired part.
The reactive part.
The longing part.
The part that wants to do it differently.

Each session we gently explore our inner world through:

– SoulCollage® (no art experience needed)
– Focusing (listening to the body’s wisdom)
– Aware Parenting principles
– Inner child Journeys (understanding the younger parts of you that show up in parenting)
– Nonviolent Communication (connecting to the feelings and needs beneath behaviour)
– Reflection, sharing, and integration

This isn’t about becoming a perfect parent.
It’s about becoming a more connected one to yourself and your child.

You’re welcome exactly as you are.

Starting April

Monthly live circle (Recording uploaded onto a members space)

Occasional WhatsApp prompts in-between

No pressure, no catching up come as you can

If you’re longing for a softer, more compassionate way to parent I’d love to welcome you.

  • SoulCollage® is an expressive arts practice done individually or in community. Founded by Seena B. Frost, the method develops creativity and intuition, encourages self-discovery, and provides personal guidance.

SoulCollage® meets you wherever you are on this journey called life. You don’t have to be an artist to make SoulCollage® cards. Anyone can create and enjoy this powerful practice.

  • Overview of Focusing

Focusing is a process grounded in experiential listening as developed by Eugene Gendlin.  It is a powerful way of interacting with innate body-felt knowing and leads to mutual respect, authenticity and compassion.

  • Robin Grille’s Inner Child Journeys is a gentle, guided processes that helps adults reconnect with the emotional experiences and unmet needs of their childhood. Through awareness, compassion, and inner dialogue, they support healing old patterns so we can respond to our children and ourselves with greater understanding, presence, and care.

  • Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a compassionate approach to communication that helps us connect to the feelings and needs underneath behaviour both in ourselves and others. It supports more understanding, empathy, and honest expression, especially in moments of conflict.

  • What is Aware Parenting?

Aware Parenting is an attachment-based and trauma-informed approach to parenting which does not use either punishments or rewards. It questions most traditional assumptions about raising children and proposes a new approach that can significantly improve relationships within a family and prevent behavior problems. Parents who follow this approach raise children who are cooperative, compassionate, competent, nonviolent, and drug free.

Aware Parenting is based on the work of Aletha Solter, Ph.D., a Swiss American developmental psychologist, international speaker, consultant, and author of seven books. She is recognized internationally as an expert on attachment, trauma, non-punitive discipline, and developmentally appropriate education.

The approach is supported by research in the fields of attachment, child development, neurobiology, trauma, psychotherapy, and education. A research study has demonstrated the effectiveness of some aspects of the Aware Parenting approach.

Founded in 1990, the Aware Parenting Institute is an international organization with certified instructors in over 25 countries who are helping to spread this approach around the world. These instructors work independently and are not employees or subcontractors of the Aware Parenting Institute. The institute has no political or religious affiliation.
