Level 1 Aware Parenting Mentoring

The Level 1 Aware Parenting Mentoring Course is an invitation to deepen your understanding of Aware Parenting so you can support parents in nurturing truly connected, compassionate relationships with their children. Together, we’ll explore how to foster secure attachments, respond to children’s emotions with warmth and clarity, and bring more healing into family life. This course blends theory, reflection, and practical tools, giving you the confidence to mentor parents in a way that feels authentic and grounded. Whether you're starting out or expanding your practice, this journey will support you in holding space for families with empathy, wisdom, and heart.

    For the workshop requirement, attend either Rebecca's 1 day online training on Transforming families with Aware Parenting a full-day workshop by Aletha Solter.​​ Rebecca runs her workshop once a year.

    Additional Requirements

    Take part in Rebecca's Mentoring Programme. This is eleven 2 hour sessions.  The next mentoring group starts in May 2026.

    6th May, 20th May, 3rd, June, 17th June, 1st July, 16th September,30th September, 14th October, 4th November,  18th November,  25th November 2026

    Further Additional Requests​

    Lead a 2 hour online workshop which you can record or invite Rebecca to attend. This can be on a topic of your choice but must include some opportunities for participants to reflect together about the topic being shared. For those who plan to work 1- 1 with parents I request an outline of how you   envision your offerings to parents and families. 

    Have at least 1 listening partnership with another parent practising 'gentle parenting'. A listening partnership is where you and another parent exchange regular listening support with each other. Here is a short video explaining how it works. You can ask to join our Listening Partnership WhatsApp group. 

    Be in some form of therapy or inner child work (This may also have been in the past)

Journeying Together

The mentoring is a requirement for those certifying as Level 1 Aware Parenting Instructors in the UK, Ireland, and Sub-Saharan Africa. However, the programme is open to anyone worldwide who is on their Aware Parenting Instructor journey or working with children in a professional or caregiving capacity. Whether you’re seeking guidance, community, or deeper learning, I welcome you to join us and grow in your practice.

What’s included in the mentoring?

I'm Rebecca, a Level 2 Aware Parenting Instructor, and I've been supporting parents with the Aware Parenting approach for over 10 years. As the regional coordinator for the UK, Ireland, and Sub-Saharan Africa, I guide those who wish to certify as Level 1 Aware Parenting Instructors. My passion lies in helping parents, caregivers, and professionals heal from their own childhood experiences so they can nurture deeply connected, compassionate relationships with children. Through my work, I offer guidance, community, and practical support to those on their Aware Parenting journey, whether they are just beginning or looking to expand their impact
