Empowering You as a Parent: Moving from Overwhelm to Inner Trust
A free live webinar for parents of children with big feelings who want a more connected, confident way of responding
Friday 1st May
8:00–9:30pm (BST)
Live on Zoom
If parenting feels overwhelming at times then this is for you.
You might be here because:
your child’s behaviour feels intense or confusing
you don’t want to use rewards or punishments, but feel unsure what to do instead
you find yourself reacting in ways you don’t feel good about
you feel overwhelmed by your child’s big emotions
you’re trying so hard and still questioning yourself
And underneath all of that, there may be a quiet feeling of:
“I just want to feel more calm, confident, and connected in my parenting.”
What if your child’s behaviour isn’t something to control but something to understand?
In Aware Parenting, we begin with a different perspective.
Behaviour is not random.
It is communication.
When children “misbehave,” it is often because:
they have an unmet need
they lack information
they are holding stress or emotions that need to be released
When we understand this, we stop trying to control behaviour and start responding in ways that create real, lasting change.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
In this free webinar, you’ll begin to:
-
So you can move away from confusion and frustration, and start to see what is underneath the behaviour, whether that’s a need, a feeling, or something your child is trying to process.
-
So that when your child is crying, raging, or overwhelmed, you have a clearer sense of how to stay present, what to do, and how to support them without shutting things down or feeling lost.
-
So you can begin to respond in ways that support cooperation, connection, and long-term emotional wellbeing without relying on control, bribes, or consequences that don’t feel aligned.
-
So you can make sense of what’s happening not just for your child, but for you too and begin to soften the pressure and self-doubt you may be carrying.
-
So you can feel more grounded in your decisions, less pulled by outside opinions, and more able to respond in ways that feel right for you and your child.
Hi, I’m Rebecca
I’m a therapeutic parent coach, Aware Parenting Instructor, and therapeutic play practitioner.
Before this work, I spent 17 years as a teacher using reward systems and behaviour strategies.
Everything shifted when I discovered Aware Parenting.
It felt like a return to something deeper, more connected.
Since then, I’ve supported many parents to move away from control-based parenting and into more understanding, confidence, and trust.
And I know, both personally and professionally, how hard this can be!
This is for you if
you have a child with big feelings
you don’t want to rely on rewards or punishments
you feel overwhelmed or unsure in your parenting
you want a more connected, compassionate way forward
you are ready to feel more confident and supported
You don’t have to figure this out on your own.
